Our generous employees are making a difference in our communities

It’s all about the giving. Every year thousands of current and former LG&E and KU employees generously open their wallets to contribute to the company’s employee giving campaign, the Power of One.

Since 2005, more than $30 million has been raised through payroll deductions, event fundraisers, retiree donations and support from IBEW Local 2100 and the LG&E and KU Foundation, providing much-needed support to dozens of nonprofit organizations throughout LG&E and KU’s service territories in Kentucky and Virginia. In 2023, employee contributions, with LG&E and KU Foundation support, totaled more than $2 million.
